This is a great option if you’ve had surf lessons before as you can bypass the beginner’s tuition and can head straight out into the surf with your own instructor, which is unique to our surf school. Depending on what level you’re at, we can help you progress to the next stage, advancing your surfing and providing valuable information on how to read tides and surf conditions, what to do in rips and currents, surf etiquette and advice on equipment and local surf spots.
Lessons are run daily by highly qualified surf instructors who choose the best location on the beach for quality waves. All you need to bring is a towel and swimwear. Changing facilities with showers and toilets are available. We cater for both individuals and groups. Build your surfing confidence and knowledge with us in more advanced waves!

BOOK YOUR LESSON
what to bring to your surf session
We provide all equipment for your surf lesson or camp, including wetsuits, boards, and rash vests.
Swim Gear
Swimming shorts and swim suits to be worn under wetsuits (supplied) to keep you warm.
Towel
Sadly we don’t supply towels, so if you can bring your own, that would be super!
Sunscreen
Sunscreen (yes, even in Ireland!). Protect yourself against the sun as you will face maximum exposure.

Meeting Point for Surf Lessons is at Strandhill Surf School on Strandhill beach front. Our premises is the last building on the right hand side of the main road that leads to the beach. Two doors down from The Strand Bar.
Yes, all necessary equipment is included. All you will need to bring is a towel and swimwear.
Yes, changing facilities with hot showers and toilets are available on site. All belongings can also be stored securely at the Surf School while you are on your Surf lesson.
Deposits are required for groups of 6+ people.
